Cohasset’s Public Meeting Press Release:
Cohasset, Massachusetts – The Town of Cohasset will host a public meeting to discuss their work on the Complete Streets Prioritization Plan. The Town, in partnership with Howard Stein Hudson, will give a presentation on the Complete Streets Program and ask the community for feedback. The goal of this public meeting is to solicit comments and project ideas on problematic areas for bicyclists, pedestrians, transit users, and those with disabilities.
Complete Streets are those that provide safe and accessible transportation options for users of all ages, abilities, income, and travel modes, including biking, walking, transit, and driving. The Complete Streets Program is a MassDOT-funded initiative to help municipalities make infrastructure improvements on municipally-owned roadways to better serve all users. The Town of Cohasset has started work on the Complete Streets Prioritization Plan, which will rank viable projects and community input is a vital part of the development of this plan.
Come learn about the program and give us your ideas and visions for safe and accessible transportation for people of all ages and abilities. Can’t make the meeting? Submit ideas & comments online: http://wikimapping.com/wikimap/Cohasset.html
