Portable Water

Responsibilities

• Make and enforce regulations related to private water supplies in the community;
• Order the fluoridation of public water supplies;
• Upon the determination that drinking water is unsafe, order the discontinuance of use or order provisions of a new source;
• Maintain a list of all properties connected to wells;
• Reviewing monthly chemical logs from public water supplies serving residents in the Town of Cohasset/
